Know when to stop DIY troubleshooting

Disconnect power before cleaning charging contacts or working around powered docks when the manufacturer instructs you to do so. Never bypass cliff sensors near stairs, operate with wet filters when the product requires them dry, or open battery packs, mains-powered docks or sealed laser assemblies as a casual diagnostic step.

Stop and contact support when

• there is heat, swelling, burning odor, smoke or liquid intrusion near electrical parts;
• a wheel, fan, LiDAR or pump remains mechanically stuck after user-serviceable debris is removed;
• the official guide classifies the condition as a motor, encoder, battery or internal error;
• the unit is under warranty and disassembly may affect coverage.
